Friday 19th May, 8pm Tim Kliphius Trio

The Tim Kliphius Trio are one of the world’s top string groups, combining jaw-dropping virtuosity and mesmerizing improvisations with a beautifully varied repertoire sourced from classical music, gypsy jazz and folk. Tim is joined by Nigel Clark (guitar) and Roy Percy (double bass) in an amazing concert which will feature tunes from Gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt, as well as the Trio’s new Five Elements suite, an ode to our planet. There maybe even classically inspired pieces from Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos, and some of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons! An unforgettable evening.

Saturday 10th June, 8pm Thought Control (A Tribute To Pink Floyd)

2023 is the 50th anniversary of the acclaimed album “Dark Side Of The Moon” – and what better way to celebrate than with Thought Control and their Tribute to Pink Floyd!  Reminisce as this great band recreate all-time classics such as “Another Brick In The Wall”, “Comfortably Numb” and “Wish You Were Here”, and epics such as “Echoes” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”. Lighting, projection and laser effects create the perfect backdrop – so whether a die-hard fan or new to Pink Floyd, let Thought Control immerse you in the magic of one of the greatest bands of all time.

Thursday 13th July, 8pm JAZZ -Paul Higgs – Shades of Miles

Miles Davis, the most revered jazz trumpeter of all time was at the forefront of several major innovations in jazz from the mid ’40s to the early ’90s – bebop, cool, hard bop, modal, jazz funk and jazz fusion. Paul plays well-known favourites from these styles as well as some less familiar gems!
An ace jazz trumpeter, Paul is renowned for his magical sound, exceptional skill and his great sensitivity – his high energy and skill as a composer make him a superb proponent of Miles Davis’s music. Playing with him in this celebration of Miles are the outstanding trio Gabriel Keen (piano), Neil Bullock (drums), and Jerome Davies (bass).

Thursday 20th July, 8pm This Flight Tonight – The Songs of Joni Mitchell

Joni Mitchell is one of the most influential artists of the modern age, rising to stardom in the late 1960s, her music and song writing the jewel in the crown of the Woodstock generation. Bursting onto the scene with a sound entirely her own, Joni earned the respect of her musical peers and the love of her audiences worldwide.
