The Tim Kliphius Trio are one of the world’s top string groups, combining jaw-dropping virtuosity and mesmerizing improvisations with a beautifully varied repertoire sourced from classical music, gypsy jazz and folk. Tim is joined by Nigel Clark (guitar) and Roy Percy (double bass) in an amazing concert which will feature tunes from Gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt, as well as the Trio’s new Five Elements suite, an ode to our planet. There maybe even classically inspired pieces from Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos, and some of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons! An unforgettable evening.

Miles Davis, the most revered jazz trumpeter of all time was at the forefront of several major innovations in jazz from the mid ’40s to the early ’90s – bebop, cool, hard bop, modal, jazz funk and jazz fusion. Paul plays well-known favourites from these styles as well as some less familiar gems!
An ace jazz trumpeter, Paul is renowned for his magical sound, exceptional skill and his great sensitivity – his high energy and skill as a composer make him a superb proponent of Miles Davis’s music. Playing with him in this celebration of Miles are the outstanding trio Gabriel Keen (piano), Neil Bullock (drums), and Jerome Davies (bass).
