Food and drink in the bar
Drop in at any time to eat at our bar, enjoy brunch, or for a hot drink and delicious homemade cake in the old smoking room. We serve great coffee and a large selection of teas.
Our relaxed restaurant uses the finest ingredients to serve simple, unfussy, seasonal, fresh food. Wherever possible this is local, wild and organic. We are loyal to our suppliers, whether it is our local fishermen, or Jim Baker and his organic old spot pigs in Wedmore!
Our menu is overseen by Tom Blake, Executive Chef, alongside Head Chef, Steve Yates.
Special occasion? Looking to celebrate? Adjoining the restaurant, we have a private dining room, which can seat up to 8 guests.
We welcome children and have a kid’s menu for them to choose from or they can choose smaller versions of dishes on the main menu.
Dogs are welcome in the bar and old smoking room, where we serve our full restaurant menu, and they can stay in the rooms on the 1st floor making The King’s Arms the perfect place for a dog-friendly break.
